Sometimes you can't work on stone
There are many situations when working on stone isn't a good idea. Lightning storms come to mind. When it's so cold you can't hold the hammer.
But perhaps the most critical time is when the weather is absolutely beautiful, but it's Friday night and you promised to take your wife and dauther to the local carnival up the street from Branford in Guilford, CT.
The labor of stonework can continue tomorrow.
